Free delivery offer

We offer free standard shipping to major cities on purchase above $200* ex GST. Here are several exclusions:

* Excludes bulky items and unusual shape items that requires manual handling due to size,  weight and fragility. Free delivery is calculated on the order total ex gst, after any discounts have been applied.

* Bulky products, defined as those weighing more than 20kg or measuring more than 60cm in one dimension, require manual handling and are not compatible with courier sortation systems.

* This free delivery offer excludes remote and regional areas of Australia; however, we attempt to keep the shipping rate to the basic cost that couriers charge us.

Delivery times

Most orders will be dispatched from our warehouse within 1 business day after payment has been confirmed, subjected to Goods availability. The shipping estimates below apply after your order leaves our warehouse.

* Delivery times are an estimate and actual delivery times may vary based on public holidays and peak periods. Bulky items may take longer. The above table does not apply to pre-order items. Thornado accepts no liability for failure or delay in delivery of Goods.

Thornado will do its best to deliver the Goods on the date agreed with the Customer and will use its reasonable endeavors to notify the Customer of any likely delays in advance, but under no circumstances will the Company be liable in any way whatsoever for any loss, damage or expense suffered or incurred by the Customer arising out of or in connection with the non-availability, delay in delivery, non-delivery, or non-supply of the goods, including but not limited to any Force Majeure event.

Delivery Restrictions

  • Bulky items cannot be delivered to PO boxes or residential properties, including farm addresses. However, we can arrange delivery to the nearest courier facility for collection.
  • All large items can only be delivered to the business address if a forklift is present on site.
  • Additional fees may apply for residential / farm delivery address or specific requests for tail gate service. Please refer to the residential / farm delivery surcharge fees below.
  • Bulky items cannot be shipped via overnight express delivery
  • All overseas orders must be coordinated by the purchaser. Shipments sent internationally may be subject to tariffs and taxes particular to the destination country, which are the customer's responsibility. It is against the law to undervalue the things we sell, and we will not do so under any scenario.
  • If you purchase a pre-order item, we will not send it until we get the products from our supplier

Residential / Farm Delivery Fees & Surcharge

Bulky items cannot be delivered to PO boxes or residential properties, including farm addresses. However, we can arrange delivery to the nearest courier facility for collection. If customer requests that the item be delivered to their residential address, including farm properties, an extra residential delivery charge will be applied. This additional surcharge is the cost that the courier charge us, which we simply pass on to our customers.

  • Heavyweight Residential Delivery (RD1) - $63.00
    Fee per consignment for delivery to a residential address with a chargeable weight of 30kg and over, but less than 100kg.
  • Heavyweight Residential Delivery (RD2) - $198.00
    Fee per consignment for delivery to a residential address with a chargeable weight of 100kg and over.
  • Tail Lift Delivery Surcharge (TD1): 30kg to 99 kg - $45.00
  • Tail Lift Delivery Surcharge (TD2): 100kg to 299 kg - $85.00

Split shipments

We have multiple warehouses. Some orders require multiple shipments from different warehouses. We will notify you if this applies to your order, as it will arrive in separate deliveries.

After checkout, you will receive full tracking details via email

Shipping Damage

The Customer shall notify the Company within 3 days of delivery of any shortfall in or loss or damage to the Goods delivered. Failure to do so shall disentitle the Customer to any remedy in respect to the shortage, loss or damage.

Unsuccessful Delivery

If the Goods are returned due to insufficient address or unsuccessful delivery, the Company will charge another shipping fee to resend the Goods. If the initial delivery of the Goods is unsuccessful, the Customer must pick up the Goods from the local depot. If the Customer would prefer a second delivery/redelivery, the Customer will need to contact the Company to authorize a second delivery, which may incur additional charges.

Where is my Order – Why hasn't it arrived yet?

When your order is shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number so you can monitor its progress. If your parcel is taking longer than expected to arrive, we recommend that you trace it first using the tracking information given to you upon shipping, and then, if necessary, contact Australia Post / TNT / Startrack.

Can I pick my Order Up?

Yes you can, however, our pickup location is currently limited to Sydney. Once you have added the products to cart and proceeded to the checkout page, you can select Store Pick Up after entering your information.
