THORNADO Petrol 3 Inch Trash Pump
A trash pump is a type of water pump that is designed to move water that contains solids, such as sewage or sludge. Trash pumps are typically used in applications where the water needs to be moved from one location to another, such as from a sewage treatment plant to a disposal site.
Trash pumps are different from other types of water pumps in that they have larger impellers and volutes (the housing that surrounds the impeller). This allows them to move more water, and also means that they can handle larger solids. Trash pumps also typically have higher discharge pressures than other types of water pumps.
The THORNADO 3 inch trash pump is a compact self-priming engine that powered by Thornado 7HP 4 Stroke engine. This pump has the ability to pump solids up to 30mm in size. The Thornado 3 inch trash pump comes with special features that include easy maintenance wear plate, wear resistant silicon carbide mechanical seal for long life and abrasion resistance, easy impeller removal, marine grade aluminium pump housing and supplied ready to operate complete with suction strainer.
With a suction/discharge diameter of 80mm, or 3 inches, this water pump has a maximum delivery lift of 26m and a maximum water displacement rate of 1,100 litres per minute or 66,000 litres per hour. With the ability to draw water up to 7m in height, this pump is sure to be helpful to meet your demand for cleaning trash, sludge, and dewatering fluids with high solid content.
